Hello Mobile Alabama Pride Supporters! We are fast approaching that time of year... the end of our fiscal year 2007/2008... and moving forward to an incredible 2008/2009 Pride season! Along with the Pride festival, Chili Cook-Off and fundraisers that normally transpire throughout the year, this year Mobile has won the bid for the Pride Of the South East conference! The conference will be held in Mobile for the first time and will be held in the spring of 2009! This will be a great opportunity for Mobile. The conference will bring delegates to our city from Pride organizations in the South East U.S. along with International Pride organizers. What an exciting time to be in "Gay Mobile!" The next Pride meeting will be held at B-Bob's (213 Conti St.) June 24th at 6:00 pm.  At that meeting board members will be elected for President, 1st Vice President, Secretary and Parliamentarian.  Nominees should be organized, have a great 'sense of community,' be great motivators and be available to attend/conduct board, committee and general meetings... Please contact us with names of candidates that you feel would be an asset to this organization, along with a synopsis of their qualifications...
